CHARACTERISTICS
The planned concept will make it possible to:
- limit road traffic, with traffic volume depending on the A-25 bridge and the future Pie-IX bus rapid transit system
- reduce through traffic on residential streets
- enhance traffic safety thanks to the creation of three new intersections controlled by traffic lights and walk signals
- provide reserved bus lanes
- build an urban gateway to the city with a distinctive design, surrounded by three public squares and with a symbolic work of art
- encourage repurposing and revitalize the sector, by opening up properties suitable for future development
