World Expo 2010 in Shanghai : the CESM in the Spotlight
The Saint-Michel Environmental Complex (CESM) will be making an appearance in Shanghai, starting May 1, 2010, where Montréal will be taking part in the World Expo 2010. On the theme of "Better City, Better Life," an entire section of the event will be devoted to sustainable urban planning. Eight cities around the world, including Montréal, have been chosen to present their technological innovations. The city hopes to attract entrepreneurs interested in using Montréal's expertise to transfer the CESM experience to other cities. Some 70 million visitors are expected at the exhibition, to be held from May to October 2010.
